Technology Overview

Spirulina, a blue-green algae, is renowned for its richness in protein, minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants. With its protein content exceeding 60% of its dry weight and the presence of vital components such as phycocyanin, polysaccharides, linoleic acid, and gamma-linoleic acid (GLA), spirulina has gained widespread recognition as a valuable dietary supplement. Its health benefits encompass immune system enhancement and cholesterol reduction, making it a valuable tool in preventing conditions like hypercholesterolemia and coronary artery disease.

Key Features & Benefits

To facilitate the home cultivation of spirulina for household consumption, an innovative algae bioreactor has been developed. The key components of this device include a 10L cultivation vessel, an air pump that promotes water circulation to maximize light exposure for the algae, LED lights serving as a light source for algae growth, and a tap for harvesting spirulina solution. This compact unit measures just 35 cm in length and width.
