The Mobility & Vehicle Technology Research Center is committed to driving sustainable mobility forward through research, innovation, and education. Its research spans various areas, including next-generation mobility and decarbonization in transportation. The center’s major initiatives revolve around the development of autonomous electric vehicles and ensuring the safety of battery energy storage systems. Furthermore, the center leverages its expertise to create modeling tools that aid in policy design and planning. Notably, it has developed models for analyzing and predicting greenhouse gas emissions, air pollution dispersion, as well as charging infrastructure analysis.
